I was looking forward to be a Home House wedding photographer for the wedding of Kirsty and Luke. My coverage of their day however, started at the Rose and Crown where the guests were having a drink before the religious ceremony just across the road at Holy Trinity church. It was lovely that the pre-wedding drinks and ceremony took place near their house, it was all very local. Â Kirsty and Luke were looking for a wedding that was simple, fun and relaxed. They did not want to have a formal meal either.
I started meeting the groom and guests at their local pub and documenting as guests arrived and were getting ready to go to the service across the road. I was able to get a few shots also of Kirsty walking across to the church. The service was lovely and we were able to use the church for a few portraits as the light faded in this autumnal afternoon. We then headed across town to Home House, which is situated near Marylebone for the evening drinks and speeches. The venue was very elegant and a three piece band was also playing some music as the couple arrived. A magician also entertained the guests. The mood was very relaxed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the lovely canapés that were served throughout the evening. It wad then time for the speeches, which took place in one of the big rooms of the venue. My coverage ended just after the speeches.
Kirsty and Luke are a lovely couple, who literally planned the wedding in a matter of weeks. They wanted something simple, relaxed and I think that they achieved this perfectly. Kirsty and Luke were lovely to work with and here is a selection of my favourite images from their wedding day! I hope that you like them and I would love to hear from you, please feel free to leave me a comment below! If you are looking for a Home House wedding photographer, I would love to hear from you.
