Wedding Photography at Clissold House – Rebecca and Anthony
Hi Alexis, thank you. The photos are great. Lots of people said how great you were at the wedding-discreetly merging into the background. Thanks for sending the photos so promptly and also for the prints – they were a lovely surprise. I will definitely be passing on your details to anyone looking for a photographer.
I had the opportunity to work at Clissold House and at Stoke Newington Town hall about 15 months ago and it was great to return for the wedding of Rebecca and Anthony. Both venues are beautiful, Stoke Newington Town Hall is a lovely building with gorgeous light filtering in the ceremony room. Clissold House is just beautiful with a gorgeous staircase that allowed me to capture one of my favorite shots so far from this year.
The day started at a house that Rebecca had secured for her and her family to get ready at, only a 10 minutes away ride from the ceremony. It is was a lovely start to the day with family around and Rebecca and bridesmaids having their hair and make up done. After a few shots and a short ride, I arrived to meet the groom and guests. The registrars were incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate photography which allowed me to move discretely but freely to capture a variety of images.
A little bit of rain met us as we left for Clissold House but it made it fun and I like a few shots with umbrellas. The staff at Clissold House made the event run like clockwork and I was incredibly well looked after. After the drinks reception, meal and speeches, the evening entertainment included a Ceilidh which I really enjoy as it makes for fun photos!
Below are some of my favourite images of the day. I hope that you like them and please feel free to leave me a comment below. If you are considering wedding photography at Clissold House, please get in touch to have a chat!
