Terms and Conditions for Hurst Studios Photography Limited / trading as Alexis Jaworski Photography

  1. Introduction

1.1. These terms and conditions govern the provision of portrait photography services by Hurst Studios Photography Limited, and by booking our services, you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not book our services.

  1. Booking and Payment

2.1. To book a photography session, you must contact us and agree to our pricing and schedule.

2.2. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due on the day of the photography session after image selection.

2.3. We accept payments by debit and credit card.

  1. Photography Sessions

3.1. Our photography sessions will be scheduled at a mutually agreed date, time, and location.

3.2. You are responsible for providing accurate information and any necessary permissions for the photography session if in a public or private space.

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1. If you need to cancel or reschedule a photography session, please notify us as soon as possible. The deposit may be applied to a rescheduled session at our discretion.

  1. Copyright and Usage

5.1. All photographs taken during the photography session are the property of Hurst Studios Photography Limited and protected by copyright laws.

5.2. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the photographs for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any commercial use requires prior written consent.

5.3 All sales are final as agreed on the day of the shoot. I understand that the total order must be paid in full before any part of the order will be released by the studio. For clients on payments plans, all payments are due by the date agreed. No part order will be released until final payment is completed. No partial refunds are offered for orders that have not been fully paid.

  1. Image Editing and Retouching

6.1. We will provide editing and retouching of photographs. Additional editing requests may be subject to an additional fee. The editing provided will be in accordance to the studio policies and be final. 

  1. Image Delivery

7.1. The edited images will be delivered to you in the format purchased (albums or artwork). If your collection includes digital copies, these will be typically provided within 2 weeks of the date of the shoot. The artwork can take up-to 8 weeks. 

  1. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1. We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

  1. Limitations of Liability

9.1. Hurst Studios Photography Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our photography services.

  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

10.1. We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time. It is your responsibility to regularly review them to ensure you are aware of any changes.

  1. Governing Law

11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  1. Make up services provision

Additional. Makeup Services

In some instances, we will book a make-up artist for our clients.  The studio recommends that the client checks directly with them should they have any concerns regarding the provision of their services.   

  1. Makeup services provided by A finishing touch by Catherine Edwards will be tailored to your requirements and the specific photography session. It is usually an hour service maximum and includes hair and make up. Please provide detailed information about your preferences on the day and any skin sensitivities or allergies in advance.
  2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1. If you need to cancel or reschedule the makeup service for your photography session, please notify us as soon as possible. A minimum of 2 weeks is required otherwise the booking fee will be due at that point.

  1. Makeup Products and Tools

3.1. Our make up artist use professional makeup products and tools for their services. If you have specific product preferences or allergies, please inform us in advance.

  1. Health and Skin Conditions

4.1. You are responsible for informing us of any health or skin conditions that may affect the makeup application. We are not liable for any adverse reactions or issues arising from undisclosed conditions.

  1. Image Usage

5.1. Make up artists may take photographs of the makeup application process and finished makeup look for promotional purposes. If you have concerns about image usage, please notify them on the day.

  1. Limitations of Liability

9.1. Hurst Studios Photography Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the provision of makeup services for photography sessions by a third party.
