Wedding Photography at the Rosendale and Chelsea Town Hall
It was a nice and sunny day for the the wedding of Maria and Geraint, crisp but with lovely skies! Their wedding took place at Chelsea Town Hall followed by a short stop at Battersea Park for a few portraits before arriving at the Rosendale for the wedding breakfast. I really enjoy working at the Rosendale, a gorgeous venue in Beckenham, London.
The day started at Maria and Geraint’s flat where I joined the guests on the Route Master going to the ceremony. The mood was light, fun and full of excitement and anticipation. The guests were very welcoming as was the registrar at Chelsea Town Hall. It was a short yet lovely ceremony. The newly married couple had arranged for a short stop at Battersea Park where guests had the opportunity to stretch their legs and we took a few portraits. It was lovely to see also a bouquet throw, I find them very fun and I love photographing them. We arrived at the Rosendale in time for a few drinks before a gorgeous wedding breakfast. I have to say that I am always very well looked after at the Rosendale, the staff are very attentive and I love the relaxed atmosphere at the Rosendale. Speeches followed the meal, before heading outside to set off Chinese lanterns. During that time the room was turned around, ready for the evening celebrations and the first dance. I left a few minutes after the first dance, when the party was well under way!
Maria and Geraint are a lovely and attentive couple and they certainly made me feel very welcome on the day and it was great to capture and document their day. Below is a short selection of my favourite images, I hope that you like them. If you are looking for wedding photography at the Rosendale, please contact me to discuss further!
