Stoke Newington Wedding Photographer – Clissold House – Mo and Rosa
The weather forecast was not incredibly kind for Mohammed and Rosa’s wedding in Stoke Newington – London. It was the weekend before Christmas and there had been many flood alert’s and train delays. Luckily, all the guests got there on time and it was a joyous and happy occasion for the rest of the day.
Mo and Rosa had contacted me to cover only a few hours of their wedding day. It was a small and intimate event with a civil ceremony at Stoke Newington Town Hall, followed by drinks reception and wedding breakfast at Clissold House, literally less than 5 minutes walk away one from the other. I left just after the main course, everyone enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the day. As a wedding photographer I strive to create memorable images for the couple, to remind them of the day and the interactions with their guests.
Clissold House is a relatively new venue and was very impressed by the venue itself and the staff who were very attentive and polite and also very helpful. One of the main concerns for a wedding photographer is the amount of natural light available and I am grateful of my switch to Canon camera’s that allowed me to capture the day without requiring the use of any flash, for what was the shortest day of the year.
