Morden Hall wedding photographer – Kate and Emma

I was very excited to be the Morden hall wedding photographer for Kate and Emma’s big day. I had the pleasure to meet Kate and Emma a few weeks before their wedding day. I enjoyed talking to them. They were very enthusiastic about their wedding day and they were looking for a relaxed and fun day. They had chosen a gorgeous wedding venue in London that catered for all their needs. It offered a variety of rooms as well as outdoor space.

I arrived at the end of the getting ready preparations and everyone was looking good and calm, enjoying a drink and nibbles. I really like walking into a room to see smiling and happy faces, it makes it so much easier to capture beautiful shots. The ceremony in itself was beautiful with a few readings and Kate and Emma saying their own vows. After the ceremony, we were lucky that the weather was dry. Guests ventured outside for a confetti shot and then we took a few portraits whilst guests mingled. The meal was beautiful and was followed by speeches. It was great to hear all the nice words and stories about Kate and Emma. A couple of the speakers had also done a slideshow with images from their childhoods and day-to-day life which were great to see. After the meal, followed the first dance and the evening party.

I really enjoy capturing weddings based around family values and that are relaxed in their nature. To me, weddings are about two families getting together to celebrate the wedding of two special people and have a great time in doing so. Emma and Kate are lovely people, attentive and caring and I really enjoyed working with them and capturing some special memories for them.
