I had been looking forward to shooting at the Lanesborough, a prestigious hotel in the centre of London that every wedding photographer looks forward to work at.
The day started at Allison’s apartment before hoping into a black cab to go to the Lanesborough with Terrance and his best man. We met the wedding party there and after a quick drink it was a short walk to St. Peter’s Church in Eaton Square for the ceremony which included music played by friends and family.
The reception was held at the Lanesborough which included a lovely meal with heart felt speeches and slideshows showing the progression of the bride and groom’s lives – always an emotional moment and a great present from their families – a lot of effort was put into creating those slideshows! The meal was followed by a traditional tea ceremony reserved for the family, before heading to the dance floor for the first dance. At the time of leaving, the party was getting started, the vodka had made an appearance and the guest were enjoying the piano music being played. This was a classic event suiting reportage wedding photography, there was so much going on throughout the day! If you are getting married and looking for a the Lanesborough wedding photographer, I would love to hear from you. Here are some of my favorites:
