Guildhall London wedding photographer – Heather and Scott
I love discovering new places and new venues! I was very excited to be a Guildhall London wedding photographer for Heather and Scott’s wedding in the City of London. The wedding ceremony took place at the St Lawrence Jewry across the square from the Guildhall. Both incredible buildings with lots of history. The venues had a lot of significance for both Heather and Scott as they both work in the City.
The day was beautiful and relaxed and both Heather and Scott looked great in their respective wedding outfits. The ceremony was beautiful with some nice readings and words from the priest. After the ceremony, we went for a quick drive to St. Paul’s to take a few portraits before joining the guests back in the Crypts of the Guildhall. The rooms were set up in great fashion with ornaments and visual signs reminding all of Heather’s Canadian heritage. After the drinks, followed the wedding breakfast and speeches, all very funny and emotional. There was a gap after this when evening guests arrived before the first dance took place. For couples who choose to, I am always happy to do a night shot if possible and the buildings of the Guildhall offered and excellent backdrop for this!
I really enjoyed meeting Heather and Scott and documenting their wedding day. They were both very kind and attentive and it was great to see how loved they were by their guests!
