Chinese pre-wedding shoot in the Cotswolds – Jeannie and Preston
I was really looking forward to this Chinese pre-wedding shoot in the Cotswolds with Jeannie and Preston. It is not uncommon for me to document Chinese pre-wedding shoots and I really like them! Very often they tend to be in London, but it was great that Jeannie and Preston chose the Cotswolds for this. They had both studied in the UK and they were on holiday here and decide to do a pre-wedding shoot. This is not uncommon for Chinese couples, they often do this abroad wearing a “western” wedding dress as they will normally get married in a traditional red outfit. What was slightly unusual in this instance, was that Preston had not officially proposed and therefore I was also able to capture a few photos of the proposal.
In situations like this one, where there is plenty of time for portraits, I like to try different things, different poses and trying to keep everything as natural as possible. I like to chat with the couple, get to know them a little bit and then take pictures as we walk along.
Below are some of my favourite images from this shoot, I hope that you like them!
