Cookham Wedding Photographer – Sanctum on the Green Weddings – Stuart and Pam

It is always a pleasure to receive an enquiry from someone you know and I felt incredibly pleased when Stuart got in touch with me about documenting his wedding day. In a previous life, I had worked with Stuart and we got on very well! His wedding to Pam, in the lovely setting of the Sanctum on the Green in Cookham, was lovely, intimate and beautiful.

The Sanctum on the Green is a boutique Hotel that boasts beautiful rooms and a fantastic kitchen lead by one of the most promising chefs in the country. If you have not been there and you are local, it is worth visiting. Pam got ready with her family and close friends at the Hotel and Stuart arrived with plenty of time before the ceremony. The day included the bride and groom and 10 of their close family and friends and it was a beautiful and intimate ceremony. Wedding with few people can be tricky to document at times but I felt really welcomed by the guests and hung back a little bit in order not to make my presence felt too much. After the ceremony, that included some lovely readings by family members, it was time for some canapes and few portraits before heading for the wedding breakfast. The food was awesome (I was able to sample some of it) and everyone was in great spirits when I joined them after the meal for the speeches.

The evening included some dancing outside which was great and the arrival of the evening guests. It was a relaxed yet beautiful affair and both Stuart and Pam look incredibly happy. Pam looked radiant and beautiful while Stuart looked really elegant with a big smile on his face! 😉
