The Rosendale London Wedding Photography
I always enjoy working at the Rosendale. The Rosendale is a great venue in London for wedding photography. It is a relaxed and fun venue. It is very easy to access and the staff are very friendly. The food is also very good. It is a great venue for an indoors wedding, especially in Autumn and Winter. The rooms are warm and welcoming. I was looking forward to the wedding of Nina and Alex. I had met them briefly at a previous wedding last year in the Isle of Wight. I remembered them as a nice and friendly couple, so I was very pleased when they asked me to photograph their wedding. My day started as the guests were arriving at the Rosendale. It was a dry and slightly sunny day. The weather was already a bit cooler, typical of an end of October day. Everyone was in great spirits, mingling outside and inside the venue. It was great to see some familiar faces, from the bride and groom from a previous wedding to some of their mutual friends that I had met on that occasion.
The ceremony was lovely and short. It was clear to see how much this meant to the bride and groom. They were smiley and radiant and it looks like they enjoyed the ceremony. After the signing of the register, the guests walked down to the lower floor for the drinks reception. It was quite busy in a tight space but I like it this way. I like to observe and find little spots to catch meaningful images of guests enjoying themselves. During this time, I took a few family photos and portraits before heading back up for the wedding breakfast. The wedding breakfast was lovely and it was followed by speeches. It was lovely to hear the nice words that everyone had to say. I really enjoy learning a little bit more about my couples during this time. After the speeches, there was so down time for the guests while the room was turned around for the evening party. I stayed to capture the first dance before saying goodbye to the bride and groom.
