Ham Yard Hotel Wedding Photographer
Ham Yard Hotel is a gorgeous and fun wedding venue
I was excited to be the Ham yard Hotel wedding photographer for the wedding of Harita and Anwar. I enjoyed our pre-wedding conversations and I was sure that it would be a lovely day. They had chosen two wedding venues to celebrate their wedding: the Ham yard Hotel and Asia House for the civil ceremony. I started my wedding coverage at the Ham Yard Hotel. As both were getting ready there, I switched between the rooms to capture a few shots of each one of them getting ready. It was a fairly relaxed affair, until on the way to Asia House for the ceremony, the groom and best man could not find the wedding rings. We had to turn back to find the rings, with the final verdict being that it was the best man who had forgotten them! Luckily, it was all good, not too much stress was caused and something to remember at family conversations for years to come!
The ceremony was short and beautiful and provided some fun moments too!  At the end of the ceremony, we took a few photos after the ceremony before returning to the Ham Yard Hotel for the rest of the wedding celebrations. If you haven’t visited the Ham Yard Hotel, it is a great venue. The venue for the wedding has a separate area to the main hotel, so guests don’t get mixed up. The venue has a variety of rooms, including a cinema and a bowling alley which makes it a special and fun venue for any wedding!
A relaxed wedding focused around family and friends
After a short drinks reception, guests were invited for the wedding breakfast. The formalities where kept to a minimum with two very short speeches and some presents given out to the guests. After the speeches, it was time for the evening guests to arrive. They were in for a treat! Amazing cocktails and canapés, photo booth, baby sitters and play room for the children, bowling alley, magician, silhouette artist,  ice cream van and disco were all part of what the bride and groom had planned for their guests. Everybody had a lot of fun! The bride and groom also did not wish to have a first dance, but they had a first bowl together instead which was pretty fun too! I certainly enjoyed it from a photographer’s perspective!
Harita and Anwar are a lovely couple and they were incredibly caring, attentive and friendly. It was a joy to get to meet them and capture their wedding day! Below are only a few of their wedding images that tell the story of their day, I hope that you like them! If you are looking for a Ham yard Hotel wedding photographer (or any other venue for that matter), I would love to hear from you! Thank you so much for visiting!
