The wedding of E and K promised to be a great day. The sun was out and their venue was beautiful. From previous conversations with them, I knew that they were a lovely couple, relaxed and very much looking forward to their wedding day. I was very excited to be the Foxhill Manor wedding photographer for their special day! Foxhill Manor is in the Cotswold, a Small Luxury Hotel. If memory serves me right, there are about 8 bedrooms in a quiet and stunning setting.  I arrived early enough to capture a few shots of the girls and boys getting ready! It was all very relaxed and I had an opportunity also to look around. Everything was laid beautifully. The ceremony was conducted by an officiant and it was very relaxed and as the bride and groom had wanted.

The weather was really hot during the ceremony. Rather unusual for the UK but with the summer that we’ve had, it felt like being in the South of France. luckily there was plenty of water available and umbrellas were provided to take respite from the sun. After the ceremony and a confetti shot, the guests had plenty of time to mingle and enjoy the venue. It was the day of England’s football world cup match vs. Sweden.  The  ride and groom were happy for guests to watch some of it on their ipads or phones but no big screen was put up. I think that it was a good decision, those who were keen on football kept checking discretely and it had virtually no impact on the proceedings. Just before the meal, we took a few moments for some portraits with the bride and groom.

A gorgeous afternoon in the Cotswolds

The wedding breakfast and speeches followed. Speeches, as long as they are not overly long, are some  of my favourite moments at a wedding. I get to learn something more about the bride and groom. Many of the guests and their families, also get to learn about their hosts! I enjoyed the hilarity of the speeches. After that it was time for the guests to wind down for a bit before the first dance!

I really enjoyed documenting this wedding. It was in a lovely venue, with incredible weather and very relaxed and friendly guests. Below are some of my favourite images from their wedding day, I really hope that you enjoy them! If you are looking for a Foxhill Manor wedding photographer, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by!
