Rendcomb College wedding photography – Sarah & Caspar

I had met Sarah and Caspar about a year ago when they were looking for a wedding photographer for their wedding at Rendcomb College, a truly magnificent venue. We met again in late September for a pre-wedding shoot at Boscombe Pier and Hengistbury Head. It was like seeing some old friends by the time that the wedding day came. The day was very relaxed and fun and with some of the best speeches I have heard in a while!

The day started at Sarah’s parents’ house before going to the ceremony that took place in the the church in the grounds of Rendcomb College. The vicar was very relaxed about photography which was a bonus! After some guitar playing by some of Caspar’s family members we went on to the main building at Rendcomb college for canapes, drinks and few photos of the newly married couple.

The meal was gorgeous and then came the speeches… They were all very good, but the one done by the three amigos (best man and ushers) was really good. The theme was “This is your life” and they re-enacted some of Caspar and Sarah’s main moments to the delight of all the guests! I really enjoy and appreciate when family and friends go the extra mile to be creative and unique in their speeches!

A lovely band took center stage in the dance hall, ready for the first dance. It was a lovely day, filled with fun and emotional moments – and I was incredibly well looked after by all the guests but in particular by Sarah’s brother who was a true gentleman.

Sarah and Caspar are a lovely and thoughtful couple, fun to be around and I was incredibly pleased with the day and the photos. Below are some of my favourites, I hope that you like them!
