Pre-wedding Shoot in Marlow – Sarah and Sean
It was lovely to finally meet Sarah and Sean for their pre-wedding shoot in Marlow. It was a mid-week day in March and the sun was out and it was fairly warm. We met at a coffee bar in Marlow before heading out for a few shots. I do not always meet clients before their wedding day but when I do, it is always nice to have a few minutes to get to know each other and discuss the plans for the wedding day.
It is a common occurrence that couples will tell me that they don’t like to pose and a few may even be nervous about it. During a pre-wedding shoot as well as during the portrait session at a wedding, I keep things relaxed, calm and natural by simply walking along with the couple, having a chat and every now and then taking a few shots. There is very little posing as such and when it happens it is done lightly avoiding awkward poses.
I had a lovely afternoon with Sarah and Sean and they are really nice, down-to-earth people and we hit it off from the moment we met. Below is a selection of a few shots we took in Marlow and I cannot wait for their wedding later on in the year.
