The wedding ceremony of Lexi and Tom took place at the Chapel of Sandhurst Military Academy, a stunning church in a beautiful setting that provided a great backdrop for a few selected portraits. The evening reception took place at Lillibrooke Manor in Berkshire, a lovely barn and gorgeous wedding venue!
I had been looking forward to the wedding of Lexi and Tom, they were really nice to deal with before the wedding and even better on the day itself. Lexi looked amazing as she arrived in a vintage car while Tom looked incredibly elegant and sharp in his military uniform. The service was really nice including some touching readings and hymns. After the ceremony, we stayed for a few minutes in the grounds to take a few family pictures and portraits before heading off to the venue, where the guests were greeted with some mulled wine and mince pies before heading for the wedding breakfast. The evening mood was very relaxed and a lovely three course meal was followed by speeches from the father of the bride, the groom and the best lady, all three speeches very touching and sincere. The evening carried on with some dancing to the music of a band that was commissioned by Lexi and Tom and a bit more socialising ensued. I left Lexi and Tom shortly after the first dance to enjoy their guests and party.
I really enjoyed this wedding, the backdrop of Sandhurst military Academy was really beautiful and made for some stunning images. The warmth and cosiness of Lillibrooke Manor and adding the wintery and pre-Christmas feel to the day, made for a really nice location for the evening reception. More importantly though, I really enjoyed getting to know Lexi and Tom a little bit and being part of their day. They were really lovely on the day to me and it was a real pleasure to document their day!
Below are some of my favourites images of the day, I hope that you like. Please feel free to leave me or Lexi and Tom a comment at the end of this post, we would really appreciate it. Finally, if you are looking for Sandhurst Military Academy Wedding Photography, please feel free to get in touch.
Thanks ever so much for these – we are indeed delighted with them! Lexi had a tear or two in her eye too!
All the best, Tom
