bride and groom hold each other

Windsor Guildhall Wedding Photographer

I was very pleased when Kim and Charlie asked me to be their Windsor Guildhall wedding photographer. It was going to be a lovely day full of fun and laughter. The focus of the day being friends and family. They were looking for a relaxed day, with very few formalities. This is exactly how their day was!

Windsor Guildhall is beautiful for Wedding Photography

My day started in Old Windsor at the Beaumont Hotel where Kim was getting ready. It was a lovely morning and some of the bride’s relatives were in the room to keep her company and get ready themselves. The Hotel was only a short ride away from the Windsor Guildhall, the venue chosen for the ceremony. It is a lovely and impressive room. The ceremony was beautiful and short. It was lovely for the bride and groom’s children to be there and being able to enjoy the ceremony and see their parents get married. After the ceremony we popped in quickly to the windsor great park for a couple of shots by the castle. I liked the moments when passers or in this case pub goers cheers the bride and groom as they walk past. We then went to the Lodge in Wraysbury, a private venue where the groom works. They may use it one day for weddings, I would certainly recommend it as it is stunning.

The Lodge in Wraysbury is a gorgeous reception venue

The lodge, if I remember correctly, is actually set up for fishing. It is stunning as you can easily erect a marquee and there is also a building that can be used. The scenery around is really stunning, in particular as the sun was shinning in this lovely weekend in August. Whilst the format of the day was fairly traditional with drinks, meal, speeches and dancing, everything was very relaxed. It was lovely seeing kids playing, drinks having a good time chatting and having drinks in the various areas that the venue has to offer.

I really enjoyed capturing Kim and Charlie’s wedding day. It was a relaxed day and at two splendid venues! Below is a short selection of my favourite images from their day I really hope that you liked them and please feel free t leave a comment below, I would to hear from you. If you are looking for a Windsor Guildhall wedding photographer or for any other venue for that matter, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading!
