Crown and Garter wedding photographer
A glorious day for a wedding day
I was looking forward to being the Crown and Garter wedding photographer for the wedding of Natalie and Richard. The Crown and Garter is based in Irkpen. My day started with covering a few images of the bride getting ready at her house. I drove to St. Laurence’s Church in Irkpen for the wedding ceremony. It was a gorgeous day, the sun was out and the church looked amazing. Natalie and Richard were in great spirits and the wedding day was also special as their young daughter was also part of the wedding day. The ceremony was meaningful with readings and hymns. After the service, we used the beautiful ground for a few family photos before heading to the venue for drinks and canapés.
An all day party with London Essentials
Prior to the wedding day, the bride had mentioned how excited they were about their band. A 5 piece acoustic band called London Essentials. They certainly did not disappoint. They create a party atmosphere from early on in the day. They played for, sang and danced with the guests. Everybody seemed to enjoy them and it created a relaxed environment for the day. They played 4 sets throughout the day. Guests enjoyed some drinks outside before going in for the main meal and speeches. After more signing and dancing it was time for the first dance.
It was a fantastic day for me. As a guitar player myself, I enjoyed the live music. Natalie and Richard were very relaxed and it was obvious to see how happy they were. Happy of being together and married of course but delighted in seeing their guests having a great time.
Below are some of my favourite images from their wedding day. I really hope that you like them! If you have come across this blog post and you are looking for a Crown and Garter wedding photographer (or for any other venue for that matter) I would really love to hear from you. Thank you for visiting my site and for ready! Have a fab day!
