Ufton Court Weddings
Ufton Court weddings have always been beautiful, relaxed and full of joy in my previous visits. The wedding of Nathalie and Carl was no exception! Despite the wet weather, everyone was in great spirits on the wedding day. Ufton Court is a gorgeous venue in Berkshire and had quite a few different areas which was ideal as it was not possible for the guests to be outside as it rained for most of the day.
The day started for me at Malmaison in Reading where Natalie was having her hair and make up done. Natalie had her bridesmaids with her and then later on her parents arrived too. I made my way to Ufton court and met with Carl and his usherettes. I think that this was a first for me where the groom has 2 girls as “best men”. I always enjoy capturing a few shots of the last minute preparations and the guest arriving. There was a moment where potentially the bride may have seen the groom as he went for his interview but the bridesmaids were on hand to prevent that and it was a really fun moment. The ceremony was simple and relaxed with two beautiful readings before heading out from the Archers Hall to the main house for the drinks reception and then to the main barn for Afternoon Tea. Natalie and carl had prepared a beautiful vintage tea party wit many of the decorations either handmade or sourced in vintage stores for the occasion.
The wedding was relaxed and the newly married couple opted for only a few words or toasts rather than lengthy speeches. Natalie and carl were up to a bit of fun with the portraits and we took a couple of shots in the rain before heading in for the first dance.
I really enjoy Ufton Court weddings and I really enjoyed documenting Natalie and Carl’s special day. It is clear to see how much their family and friends care for them and it was a lovely celebration. Below are only a few favourite images from their wedding day, I hope that you like them.
