The Mill House Hotel Wedding Photos
The Mill House Hotel wedding photos tend to be lovely as the venue is fairly relaxed and laid back, ideal for a couple like Hannah and Anthony who were looking for a gorgeous wedding with friends and family. The venue has rooms for the bride to get ready in and the whole day took place as the Mill House Hotel which is great in terms of logistics. I was looking forward to document Hannah and Anthony’s wedding as I had already met them and their family when I documented Ellen and Richard’s wedding last year. Hannah and Ellen are sisters and I really enjoy when I get to document events for the same family over time.
The day started with some shots of Hannah getting ready before going downstairs for the wedding ceremony. There was a bit of excitement in the air, may be a little bit of nerves but everyone was relaxed and in great spirits. The ceremony was lovely with some nice readings and signing before gong outside for drinks. It was mid-march so it was great to be able to step outside for a few moments before it turned cold. After the drinks reception guests were invited for a lovely meal before speeches took place. Speeches are a meaningful time for me and I love capturing them. it is a time when publicly, the speakers will send some kind words (and some funny too) to the people who matter and mean a lot to them. I think that it is a lovely tradition. After the meal, there was some time for coffees before the first dance and the evening party.
Hannah and Anthony are a lovely couple and are now expecting their first child, I am so pleased for them. I really enjoyed capturing their wedding day and getting to see some of their family members again and meeting a few new one’s too.
