Kew Gardens Weddings

Kew Garden Weddings are spectacular

Kew Garden weddings are magical!  It is such a diverse, vast and beautiful environment. I was very much looking forward to the wedding of Sarah and James.  I had chatted with them on a couple of occasions prior to the wedding. They were looking for beautiful images in a relaxed setting. Their wedding was elegant and stylish yet friendly and relaxed.

My day started at the bride’s parents house. It was a chilled out atmosphere when I arrived. The getting ready preparations were in full swing. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and there was no sign of stress. I felt very welcome from the beginning and it was easy for me to get stuck in and capture some images. It was a busy environment with lots going on. This is exactly what I like, trying to create strong images in busy situations.

It was then time to go to the local church for the wedding ceremony. The bride arrived in style and the groom was waiting inside for her. The ceremony was beautiful and included some lovely singing by one of the bridesmaids. After the ceremony and a gorgeous confetti run, all guests were directed to Kew Gardens.

A beautiful afternoon in a gorgeous setting

Kew Gardens is a gorgeous place just on the west side of London. It is a massive natural sanctuary in the middle of a busy urban landscape. The guests had drinks on arrival at the Nash Conservatory and were then invited to the Princess of Wales Conservatory for a few more drinks and canapés before heading to the Orangery for rest of the evening. We took some time also with the bride and groom to take a few portraits around the venue. The evening entertainment included a lovely three course meal, followed by speeches and then some lovely dancing after this. It really was a wonderful day and I enjoyed capturing memories for Sarah and James. They were very considerate and attentive to everyone. They were looking for a fun day and I think that this is exactly what they had.

Below are a selection of my favourite images from the wedding day. I really hope that you like them and I would love to hear from you in the comments section below.
