Lillibrooke Manor is a gorgeous venue in Berkshire

I was reallyÂ looking forward to being the Lillibrooke Manor wedding photographer for Faith and Jonathan’s wedding. I still remember chatting to Faith when IÂ was inÂ Istanbul last year. She was enquiring about my services. I went to IstanbulÂ to do some sightseeing and street photography after capturingÂ a wedding in Bodrum. I recall Faith being very excited about her wedding day. I was glad that she chose me to document her day at Lillibrooke Manor, a lovely barn venue situated not far from me in Berkshire.

The day started at a Hotel only a short drive away, where Faith was getting ready with her family and friends. I love the moments before the ceremony. There is always a sense of excitement and everyone is looking forward to the day ahead. I then travelled to the venue in time to capture some images of the groom with his best man and ushers. I also enjoy seeing guests arriving, old friends catching up and families getting together perhaps after some time.

A lovely day full of laughter and hugs

If you follow my work, you know that I love real moments and real emotions. Laughter and hugs top my list of favourite things to capture. The wedding of Faith and Jonathan did not disappoint in this regard! Plenty of lovely moments, of small celebrations, adults playing around with children and generally having fun! The ceremony was beautifulÂ with two lovely readings and the music being played by a friend of the brideÂ and groom. Drinks in the lovely gardens followed before going into the Barn for a meal and speeches. The wedding took place in August and we were blessed with lovely weather throughout the day, sunny but not too hot! The evening continued with the first dance and I then left shortly after this, leaving the bride and groom to party the night away.

Every wedding is special to me. Every couple is different and I am lucky to work at different venues all the time. I am blessed with having couples who understand the way I work and are looking for relaxed images of their wedding day. Faith and Jonathan were very welcoming and caring.
