This wedding had it all! Gorgeous weather and gorgeous locations, emotional speeches, in particular from Clare – the bride, one of the best countryside views with rolling hills and stunning valleys, a gorgeous sunset and outdoor dancing!
I was thrilled when after meeting Neil, Clare and Neil commissioned me for their wedding at Wellington Barn in Wiltshire, a venue I had worked at before. It was lovely to return there on a sunny day as it was on this Saturday in July, it really brings the scenery to life. The day started at St. Mary’s Church in Marlborough where I was unable to photograph during the service (apart from a few shots from the back) followed by a few drinks at the church itself before moving to Wellington Barn, a mere twenty minutes away.
The day had a lovely pace with people mingling of course, but also playing cricket and balls and taking walks around the venue. The weather was so lovely that Neil and Clare moved their Ceilidh outdoors and it was incredibly fun.
I have always found Wellington Barn to be a great venue for weddings and the staff looked after everyone incredibly well. As a wedding photographer, I love this venue as it offers so many opportunities for photography and I love the countryside.
Below are only a few of my favourites to give you a flavour of what their day was like. If you like these images too, please leave me or Clare and Neil a comment below! If you are looking for a Wellington Barn Wedding Photographer please get in touch!
