West Barn Wedding Photographer – Wiltshire – Maggie and Richard
As a wedding photographer, I feel blessed by the variety of people I get to meet and the locations I get to work at. The wedding day of Maggie and Richard had all the makings of a perfect celebration based around family and friendship. The ceremony took place at West Barn, in Bradford upon Avon followed by a casual picnic on the lawn by the Tythe Barn, followed by an evening of ceilidh dancing at St. Margaret’s hall.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I really enjoy these kind of commissions. I enjoy the attention to detail for the preparations, the slow pace of the day and the emphasis on celebrating the wedding day with family and friends, something that can be sometimes overlooked by the pressures of the day.
The day started with coverage of bridal preparations at Leigh Park Hotel, just on the outskirts of Bradford upon Avon. The day’s coverage was strictly documentary wedding photography apart from a short walk we took by the river and barns for some portrait shots.
