Gildings Farm Barn Wedding Photography – Zoe and Mark
Hi Alexis,
Thank you so much for these. I have had a quick scan through them at work and they look astonishing, as we knew they would. Mark
The photos are fantastic- we love them! – Zoe
The wedding of Zoe and Mark was a great way to kick off September after a very busy month in August! It was a sunny and dry day and it was great to see Zoe and Mark again. I had met them a few months beforehand in Windsor for their pre-wedding shoot that you can see here: Wedding photography in Windsor. We had a great time together and captured some lovely shots and I knew that their day would be all about them, their families and friends. I knew it would be relaxed and beautiful.
My day started at Zoe’s parents house where the girls and family were getting ready. I like the frantic moments that happen as people start to get ready to leave for church and the calm moments also as the bride gets into her dress and it becomes “real” that the wedding and the moments she walks down the aisle is only a few moments away.
After a short service at their local village church, we went to Gildings Farm barn, a lovely venue in Surrey. It is to some extent a blank canvas and ideal for Mark and Zoe who wanted to put their personal touch in the decorations! It was great for guests to be able to enjoy the outdoor space, before being called for a lovely meal! It was great to have a table setting with my name on and to join the naughty table and get to know some of Mark and Zoe’s friends! I really had fun!
Throughout the day, we grabbed 5 minutes here and there to take a few portraits using the different light conditions to create different images of the newly-married couple. I like this approach as this way, I do not take the couple away for too long or for a large chunk of time and I can then have a different feel for their portraits.
The evening proceeded with speeches and then some dancing that I enjoyed capturing!
I am blessed with working with couples who are in the same wave length that I am. As such, it was a lovely day spent with two fun, caring, relaxed couple and I really wish them all the best for their married life.
Below is a selection of my favourite images from the day! I hope that you like them and if you are looking for a Gildings Farm Barn wedding photography, please feel free to get in touch! Thanks for reading!
