Humanist wedding in Buckinghamshire – Holly & Dan
A few weeks ago, I attended a humanist wedding in Buckinghamshire. It was a lovely and different wedding in many ways. A humanist wedding is a non-religious meaningful wedding ceremony and this is exactly how theirs was! Â A warm and genuine ceremony including some guitar playing and singing!
Holly and Dan wanted this day to be special and unique for them and great effort was done to achieve this. The day took place in Holly’s family home gardens. A lovely marquee was set up. In addition to the humanist ceremony, the day included a treasure hunt (one of their joint activities) which was fun to document and also a cake competition. It was lovely to see all the different cakes and concepts and the effort that was put into this.
It was a lovely and pleasant day, warm but not overly hot, typical of the beginning of spring. I really enjoyed capturing this lovely day for Holly and Dan and below are a few of my favourite images from the day, I hope that you like them. If you are considering a humanist wedding, please feel free to get in touch!
