Winters Barn wedding photographer – Heather and Marc
Winters Barn is a gorgeous venue in Kent, near Canterbury and it looked even more beautiful with the sunshine that graced the wedding of Heather and Marc. It was by all accounts a lovely day. A gorgeous couple, a great venue, lovely weather and great food! All the ingredients for a day to remember and a day I was glad to witness and document as a Winters Barn wedding photographer.
The venue has a dedicated room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready and it is there where I started the coverage of Heather and Marc’s wedding day. The mood was fairly relaxed with a pinch of excitement and anticipation. It was a short walk to the barn where the ceremony took place. It was a short and lovely ceremony before everyone headed outside for drinks and canapes. The light was beautiful on the day and we took a few portraits at that time before heading inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Heather and Marc had opted for a game of Mr. and Mrs instead of a first dance. It was really fun and everyone enjoyed it with many funny moments throughout!
It was a lovely wedding day, in the spirit that I like documenting weddings. A relaxed coverage with people enjoying themselves and enjoying each other’s company. I got on with Heather and Marc very well a lovely and caring couple, who looked fantastic on their wedding day!
Below are some of my favourite images from their day, I hope that you like them! I would love to hear from you, please feel free to leave me a comment below! If you are looking for a Winters barn wedding photographer (or any other venue for that matter) I would love to hear from you.
Alexis, I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful gift that you have given us!! That sounds super cheesy – but your wedding day flies by and you don’t really appreciate every moment for what it is – your photos have allowed us to revisit the day and bring back a tone of memories! We have looked through them once a day since we received them and each time you notice something different. Along with your talent, I suppose that is the wonder of documentary photography. You can literally look back over your day (and the separate contained events within) and remind yourself f how it all went!  Your skill is fantastic – there are some photos there (especially of the children, I noticed) that I will print out and give as gifts to the parents for Christmas as they are simply just beautiful. You caught key moments well as well – expressions/ faces/ laughter and they really are just fantastic. We really cannot thank you enough. Is there a place to leave formal feedback at all? On your website maybe?
