Hayne House wedding photographer – A lovely venue in Kent
I had been in touch with Z & R for a bit. We chatted during the enquiry process and then during the wedding preparation. They came across as a friendly couple who had strong values and a good idea about how they would like their wedding day to go. They had many ideas but their main wish was to have a relaxed day with their family and friends. They had a non-religious ceremony that was followed by readings and messages from their dearest that were meaningful to them. The day started with my good friend Emil Boczek capturing the boys getting ready whilst I documented the bride getting ready. Emil produced some great images (some included in this blog). It was also great to have Adam Szczepanski along to capture some video for the bride and groom. It was great to work with some friends!
The morning was fairly relaxed but with some last minute touches going on as I arrived to the venue. It was nice to see friends helping out, it shows how much they care in helping achieving the bride and groom’s vision. Z & R had opted for a first look before the ceremony. It was an opportunity for them to see each other and spend a few minutes before the ceremony. It was lovely to see! The ceremony then started and it was followed by a bubbles shower before gets being offered drinks and canapés. It was one of those lovely summer days we’ve had, very hot with blue skies.
Drinks in the sunshine
Hayne House is a lovely venue with lots of areas to explore. There are the gardens which also provide some welcome shade on a hot day, and of course some indoor areas that the guests can use. There is a lot of areas also to take the bride and groom for portraits. Consistent, with my style, I took them for a short session before dinner and then another short session at sunset. They also had an outfit change before dinner, so it was great to have two short sets of portraits with their different outfits. The meal was lovely as were the speeches. All of them very personal, meaningful and relevant to the bride and groom. The evening then followed with the first dance. We stayed for a bit after the first dance, before saying our goodbyes to the bride and groom.
It was a really lovely wedding. The bride and groom were very friendly and fun to be around and we really enjoyed capturing their wedding day. Below is a selection of the favourites from their day, I really hope that you like them! I would love to hear your thoughts, so please feel free to leave a comment on the section below. if you are looking for a Hayne House wedding photographer (or any other location for that matter), I would love to hear from you.
