Mandarin Oriental wedding photographer – Sonia and James
Part 2 of the wedding of Sonia and James took me to Knightsbridge, in London. It took place at a very prestigious  London hotel (previously known as the Hyde park Hotel) and I was looking forward to being the Mandarin Oriental wedding photographer for the day. I had met Sonia and James the day before for their civil ceremony at Asia House and I was very excited about their Hindu wedding.  The day started taking a fews shots of Sonia getting ready, before heading out to Hyde Park for a few portraits. The colour in Autumn are beautiful and we were blessed with the sun being out.
It was a very elegant yet relaxed wedding. Guests were greeted with teas, coffees, samosas and other delicious bits to eat before the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and the priest did a great job of explaining the important parts to everyone as there were some people had not been to a Hindu wedding before. A drinks reception followed before being invited into the main room for a lovely meal to the sound of a Harp player. A couple of short speeches took place also before the evening party got started.
It was a real pleasure to get to know Sonia and James a little bit and meet their friends and families. They are a lovely and thoughtful couple and it was a great pleasure to work with them and create some memories for them.
