Micklefield Hall Wedding Photographer
It was a real joy to document the wedding of Eleanor and Sebastian’s wedding at Micklefield Hall this summer, a gorgeous venue in Hertfordshire. I had the opportunity to meet El and Seb and spend some time with them during their engagement shoot in Marlow They are a really fun couple, full of life and extremely easy to get on with!
The morning started with bridal preparations at the The Kings Arms Hotel in Amersham before going to the venue for the civil ceremony and drinks. Micklefield Hall is a truly gorgeous venue, especially when the ceremony takes place outdoors by the lake! A thank you to the registrars for being helpful as in addition to myself there were two videographers in the small covered area where the ceremony had to take place and we were allowed to be there to capture images of the ceremony.
It was a lovely day, relaxed yet full of excitement! After the drinks reception a nice meal was served in the marquee, followed by speeches and a very funny limerick competition that had a the groom and the bride in stitches! I took El and Seb for a short portrait session before the first dance. I left a few minutes after the first dance when guests were letting their hair down and enjoying the dancing.
Below are some of my favourites images of the day, I hope that you like them! Please feel free to leave me and/or Seb and El a comment at the end of this blog post! If you are looking for a Micklefield Hall wedding photographer, I would love to hear from you. Have a nice day!
Thank you Alexis for the photos! We love them so much. Eleanor
