Wedding Photographer at St. Nicholas Hurst – Berkshire – Lauren & Edward
Hi Alexis,
Delighted is an understatement! We watched the slideshow on our big display and we absolutely love the photos! Everything we wanted and more. It was great to see all the shots of our family and guests and the little things that happened throughout the day that we missed. Really excited to print out favourite ones.
Thank you so much for everything, was a pleasure to have you as our photographer, we definitely made the best choice.
Lauren and Edward are a beautiful couple and I met them a few weeks before their wedding for a pre-wedding shoot. The location of the pre-wedding shoot was just down the road from my house, at Dinton Pastures, a lovely park with a lake. We got on really well, and I knew that their wedding was going to be special! It was a beautiful day, with the added bonus that the wedding took place in my own village, at my local church and then at Lauren’s parent’s house, a five minute walk from my front door!
The sun came out for the celebrations and we started at Lauren’s childhood home for some getting ready shots, before heading to St. Nicholas church in Hurst. It is a quaint village church and it was a bit surreal to photograph there. I attend sometimes the main events and it was nice to work with Simon, our local vicar. After the ceremony, we headed back to Lauren’s parents house where everything was in place for a gorgeous drinks reception. The vast gardens had been beautifully decorated, including a family tree and a boat! We took a few family shots and couple portraits in the gardens before heading in the marquee for the wedding breakfast, which was lovely!
A few short speeches followed the wedding breakfast before the newly married couple took to the floor for their first dance, soon joined by friends and family!
It was a lovely wedding for me to attend and photograph. Lauren and Edward wanted a wedding day focused on their family and friends, with a relaxed feel. I think that they over-achieved that, everyone looked so happy on the day!
Below are some of my favourite images, I hope that you really like what you see! Please feel free to leave me and/or Lauren and Edward a comment below!
