Bix Manor Wedding Photographer
Hi Alexis,
We’re currently on our honeymoon and have only just got a good internet connection again! The pictures are absolutely fantastic, we LOVE them! We were so excited to sit down last night and relive so many wonderful moments – you’ve captured the feeling of the day completely. We love all the candid pictures of our friends at the reception, and during the dinner and speeches. They are exactly what we were hoping for, we are so, so delighted!!
It was a lovely day for the wedding of K and M in the borders of Berkshire and Oxfordshire. We had not had a chance to meet face-to-face prior to their wedding, but I felt that we hit it off from the word “go” and it was a real pleasure to document their wedding day.
It all started at K’s family home, not too far from where I am based where K was getting ready with her bridesmaids. It was a slightly wet morning, but spirits were high! I then headed off to meet M at a local pub where he was having lunch with his family and friends before a heading to the church, a mere 5o yards away from the pub. It was a lovely church, with the vicar having celebrated previous weddings for K’s family.
After the service, we headed off to the venue, Bix Manor near Henley-on-Thames, a beautiful barn in the Oxfordshire country side. K & M’s guests were international and it was nice to hear different languages spoken throughout the day! Following the drinks reception, the guests were invited for the wedding breakfast, a lovely three course meal. The conversation was flowing and there was a nice buzz in the room. Following the meal a few short speeches took place before the cutting of the cake and first dance took place.
I really enjoyed myself at this wedding. All the guests were friendly and K & M were incredibly spontaneous, sincere and so happy to be together that it made it incredibly easy for me to capture their day.
Below are some of their favourite images from the day, I hope that you like them! If you are looking for a Bix Manor wedding photographer, please feel free to get in touch! Thanks for reading!
