PHOTOGRAPHY & BUSINESS TRAINING

INCREASE FOCUS, EFFICIENCY & CREATIVITY

My background is in business administration and business management and I worked as a management consultant for a few years before becoming a full-time photographer. I am happy to help photographers and other small businesses in both photography related topics and also, possibly as importantly, on how to run a business. Photography, for a photographer, is of course essential. However, many great photographers are unable to get enough work and many average photographer are fully booked. Running a “photography business” is exactly this, balancing and becoming great at both the art of photography and the art of running a business.

A LEARNING STYLE THAT SUITS YOU

Photography is important to me. I enjoy looking at old photographs from my family, from my childhood and school days. It reminds of how things were, how my friends and I looked. As a father of a 7 year old and a nearly 4 year old boys, I love capturing them growing up and see how they develop.

My preferred way of capturing wedding and family photography is to work in a natural and unposed way. No prompting, no cheesy smiles. I simply use my skills in observing, anticipating and capturing images to create strong and long lasting memories. I am always happy to take few posed portraits if people want them (especially at a wedding). However, natural images of your friends laughing and having fun, of your parents
hugging you or holding your hand, of your new husband or wife smiling or looking at you lovingly are in my opinion far stronger when captured naturally.
