Eynsham Hall Wedding Photographer – Emilie and Matt

Thank you very much for the pictures and for the lovely summary you posted on your blog.  Thank you for your work. I must say that many guests later remarked on you amiability and professionality.

There was a lot to enjoy at Emilie and Matt’s wedding! The weather was gorgeous, the venue, Eynsham Hall, incredibly beautiful oozing elegance and charm! Emilie and Matt are a lovely and friendly couple and it was a pelasure to document their wedding day!

It was fun to know that Emilie and I shared a similar background, both having studied at the same school abroad. It was also nice to reminisce with one of the guests that I met on the bus from the church back to the venue about old teachers and characters from the school.  It was coincidental that he was one of the only school friends from a wedding party of about 100 people and I happen to sit just in front of him and that we struck a conversation – I guess it was meant to happen!

Back to the wedding, the day started with bridal preparations at Eynsham Hall (near Witney) in Oxfordshire. The room was full of activity when I arrived and many different languages were being spoken in the room which gave an international flavour to the day! We took a bus for a ride into Oxford for the religious ceremony. It was a lovely service but somehow the priest managed to forget to ask Emilie for her vows, which meant that later when signing the register in an adjacent room, he had to “re-marry” them to ensure all legalities where in place!

After hoping on the bus back to Eynsham Hall, we arrived for an afternoon tea style drinks reception with a three piece band playing. The day was very hot and the guests enjoyed wandering around the venue before being called for the wedding breakfast and speeches. I left shortly after the speeches.

I was very well looked after by Emilie and Matt and I had a great time capturing memories for them to treasure. Below are some of my favourite images of the day, I really hope that you like them and please feel free to leave a comment at the end of this blog.
