The day was slightly cold and windy, however it was still pleasant and enjoyable. The engagement shoot went according to plan, which was mainly to have a walk and then mix some natural unposed shots with some slightly posed ones. I like my shots to look as natural and comfortable as possible and I look at ways to ensure that the people I photograph relax around me. It was a great opportunity also to have a chat and get to know each other a bit more. At the end of the shoot we went for a nice bite to eat and warm tea which was a lovely way to finish a pleasant morning.

We arrived there early to photograph from bridal preparations all the way to the first dance. The day proceeded at a relaxed pace with a stunning sunshine to make the day even more special. The newly-weds had organized a surprise trip to the pier in an old Route Master which was a delight for everybody but in particular for the 10+ children that attended the day.

It was a rewarding day which favoured our reportage wedding photography style and we were pleased to document this special moment for a special couple and their guests.
